Finnair To Offer Rapid Antigen Testing At Their Headquarter For 65 Euros


Finnair has decided to put their internal medical clinic to work that must have been relatively quiet while most of the staff are on leave and offer rapid antigen tests for 65 euros.


The headquarter is very close to terminal 2, and Finnair promises to have the results with a PDF in your email within 2 hours of the test (why not in 30 minutes or less?).

Today, American Airlines announced that it had signed a Letter of Intent with a Chilean airline called JetSMART that also has some operations in Argentina.

American plans to acquire a minority stake of the airline, and AAdvantage members could earn and redeem their miles for JetSMART flights in the future.

Marriott Bonvoy Europe, Middle East & Africa 25% Escapes Through August 24, 2021

SPG had Hot Escapes for the Americas and another program for Europe. The Hot Escapes transformed to Escapes under Marriott Bonvoy, but the Europe program went MIA.

Escapes have become available for participating hotels in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe (not all the regions participate every week). These rates must be booked by Sunday and are available over the next four weeks.

TAP Miles&Go Extends Some Miles Expiring August 1 – December 31, 2021 By 12 Months

TAP, a Portuguese flag carrier that has dramatically struggled with refunds, sent out an email earlier this week informing selective miles extension by 12 months.

Miles&Go members that have flown with TAP, have Club TAP MilesGo membership, or TAP cobranded credit card, will see their miles expiring August 1 – December 31, 2021, by a year.

Phuket’s Governor has publicly assured that the Sandbox scheme will continue to operate even though the island has now broken through the ceiling of the maximum of 90 weekly Covid infections on the island.

Upgraded To First Class On Alaska Airlines As American Airlines Executive Platinum – First Time Experience!


This week I had my first experience applying American Airlines Executive Platinum status benefits to a flight operated by Alaska Airlines and it included a super early complimentary upgrade to First Class.

Reciprocal benefits between American AAdvantage & Alaska Mileage plan (including upgrades for top tier elites) were announced in April of 2021 as the two airlines rekindled their close cooperation.
